10 Reasons I Love Hetalia
As a fledgling Hetalia fan, just starting to take my place in the fandom, I've recently been hurt and discouraged by the massive amounts of hate directed towards the fandom. It's really sad that typing something as innocent as 'funny Hetalia' into the DeviantArt search engine, in hopes of relaxing and viewing some humorous comics, generates dozens of raging anti-stamps. Now, I realize that Hetalia has the potential to be controversial. I realize that a lot of the fandom can get out of hand, and acknowledge that there are parts of it I really can't stand (the Rapist France and Pedo Spain things come to mind). And I respect that people have the

(Name) shuffled around, her arms were aching, half asleep she pushed herself up, tried to take a step forwards and fell face forward. That's when she realized that he foot was tied to the tree behind her and that she couldn't move her wrists. (Name) looked around to see the Captain staring at her. Both hands under his head, lying there with a piece of long grass in his mouth. His head resting on her handbag. She opened her mouth to say something, staring at the cave, eyes wide with worry.
" Oh, finally awake are we love?" The Captain smiled at her, an evil look on his face.. (Name) gulped.
Boy was she in trouble.

"Now, that's not very nice love." The captain raised his eyebrow. "How about you get your own group, there." The captain pointed, (Name) blinked, her tummy sinking, almost immediately her tummy sank. She didn't move. "Do you want me to move you myself then love?" He asked, quietly, looking down at her. (Name) walked off, surprised that her legs hadn't completely turned into jelly. The Captain smiled. "A fast learner." He turned around and pointed at the largest group. "You can leave." He ordered, most of the girls contained of one's who were giggling and fluttering their eyelashes at him.
The Captain turned to the next group, which contained

It was raining, and the day was cold and wet. You tugged your hair behind your ear and grabbed some candies. You were laying lazily on your bed, after a really busy day, and you just didn't want to leave it. But you knew, as soon as the doorbell rang, that you would need to leave your bed soon.
Your mother opened you bedroom door.
- (Y/N), our new neighbor is here. Come down so you can talk to him.
- Do I really have to? - you moaned.
- Yes, you do. Come on, be polite.
- Alright, alright. - you stood up and followed your mother downstairs.
You had heard about this new neighbor. He had

The next few day passed by as if you were in a dream. A dream that didn't make any since at all. All you felt was pain and confusion. 'Arthur can't really be gone can he?' You kept thinking. You had stopped eating, stopped sleeping for the most part, stopped talking to anyone, especially Gilbert. You wanted nothing to do with him anymore. You spent most of the time on a catatonic state, not responding to anything or anyone around you, staring blankly off into different parts of the ship.

"Cap'n! There's a ship coming up on us sir!"
"Colors?" Arthur asked.
"She's not flyin' any sir."
"What?" Arthur said dashing to the stern to see what the fuss was about. You followed him closely. Sure enough, there was an outline of a ship not too far off in the distance.
"Friends of yours?" You asked him. His eyes narrowed and he shrugged.

A bit of sea sprayed into your face. You were sitting on the bow of the ship looking out across the ocean. You couldn't believe that you were on route to find a priceless treasure. After leaving Port Talbot, Arthur had set a curse for some little island off the southern coast of Africa. Apparently that's where this Devil's Eye thing was supposed to be. You couldn't help but wonder if it really had the powers Arthur had told you about, or if it was even there. You pushed

"Looks like I win again Gilbert." You said to your friend as you pointed the tip of your sword into his neck. He groaned and tossed his sword in the dirt at your feet defeated.
"I don't get it." He said "How does someone like you ALWAYS beat someone as awesome as me?" You wedged your foot under the sword and flicked it up, catching it by the hilt.
"Simple Gil, I'm just better at sword play then you are." You offered his sword to him. He grinned and took it.
"Next time, I'll beat
